A Winning Strategy in Writing Resume

In writing resumes, the first thought would always be to write a good one to impress the employers. But to be able to achieve a winning resume, one must remember the exact ways on how to come up with an excellent resume. Here are some tips that you should consider in writing your own resume.

1. Decide on your job objective –Think first of what is your job objective so that you can come up of a center idea on your resume. For example if you want to apply for a business or tourism industry like hotels and restaurants abroad like the famous island hotel in Tenerife then you should focus on the information about what would your work and contribution to the said business. A clear objective about your target will make your resume understandable for the employer.
2. Market yourself – Writing resume is like imagining yourself as a product to be sold in a targeted market. The employers are your target buyers so you should write the information that would interests the employers. This would include your educational achievement like being an MBA graduate, your past job experiences and your special skills and achievements. State every data that would make you unique enough to be the most qualified applicant.
3. Observe the correct format of writing resume. Although you have the best information in your resume it will be useless if you cannot present it well to your employer. This is why you have to examine the proper format of your resume. It is better if you organized the information well by using bulleted sentences, action words, using font size not smaller than 10 point, and 1-2 pages length of the resume.
4. Review your resume. Ask someone else to review your resume. Make sure that the information is correct and readable. Let him/her ask question so that you can point some items to be changed. By doing so you can come up with a better and convincing resume.
5. Submit you resume to possible employers. An excellent resume must be submitted to potential employer which is related to your field of industry.
