EmploymentBusiness has been the global mean for a living by most individual worldwide. It offers more job prospects to all individuals in different communities. In fact, business opens wider doors in all sectors in the job market. It is also considered as the most flexible field that caters multiple job spaces. However, business depends on economic situation and when there is economic crisis, business flats. And when business flats, there could be millions of job loss and Employment rate drops.

Creighton University had made a nine-state business and employment survey that includes the state of Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Arkansas. According to the survey report, job losses across the Midwest in August adjacent to business dropdown. The university’s Business Conditions Index showed a falling rate of 51.4 in August from 51.5 in July. Minnesota fall a Business Index with a result of 44.6 in August from a 50.3 in July. Meanwhile, exports are doing well upturning the value of the U.S dollar but it is not enough to promote a certain division forward. The Institute of Supply Management also reported that the nation’s manufacturing sectors failed to grow in August, which makes the Production Manufacturing Index to drop down from 50 in July to 49.9 in August. In the Midwest, Employment Index grows from 41.4 in July to 47.5 in August. However, it is still considered weak. Minnesota on the other part had rises its Employment index of 0.2 but still very weak with an Employment Index of 42.6 due to its deteriorating production flow on food and endurable goods.

Creighton Economics Professor, Ernie Goss says, “ The regional economy has began to mirror the national economy with weak, but positive output growth and job losses. While the inflation gauge was down for the month, it is still telegraphing excessive inflation in the pipeline. ”
